The missing outrigger canoe paddler has been found, Guam Fire Department spokesman Joey San Nicolas confirmed around 11:43 a.m. today, raising the death toll from the paddling accident Sunday in Tumon Bay to two.

Ryan Cepeda was a graduate of George Washington High School, said Joe Noel, president of the Guam Canoe and Kayak Federation.

The body was found about 100 yards outside the reef - directly out from Matapang Beach in Tumon Bay, according to San Nicolas.

An outrigger canoe and a kayak capsized in rough waters in Tumon Bay yesterday, leaving seven people in the water.

A 21-year-old woman's body was pulled from the water yesterday. Three other paddlers managed to swim back safely to shore, and two other paddlers were pulled to safety.

Some of the paddlers were affiliated with the Marianas Paddlesports Racing Association, said association President Jeff Nanpin.
