Breaking News: Therapist Accused of Assaulting Child with Special Needs in Vaughan (2026)
A 36-year-old occupational therapist was arrested after allegations that a child with special needs was assaulted during a therapy session in Vaughan, Ontario.
York Region police say they were alerted on February 24 by a report that a woman visited the victim’s home for a therapy session and allegedly assaulted the child.
Roza Hosseini, of Richmond Hill, was taken into custody on February 27 and charged with a single count of assault. Investigators note that Hosseini works with multiple clients, and authorities are concerned there could be other potential victims.
